I’ve booked a retreat – what next?
On booking (with payment of a deposit), an email confirmation is automatically sent to you. Your retreat therapist then emails you to organise ‘pre-retreat conversations’ with each partner as soon as possible (and no more than 14 days before your retreat). These conversations are conducted separately with each partner by a private phone call or preferably online video session of up to 50 mins (if your therapist has already spoken to one partner prior to booking, their conversation may be shorter). They are informal ‘welcome’ conversations which help you further understand what a retreat entails, and usually reduce the anxiety you may feel about the experience. They also enable us all to ensure that a retreat is likely to be effective in meeting your needs. Assuming we confirm this suitability, you will then be sent a final confirmation of your booking.
Once you have paid the balance of payment for your retreat (due at least 14 days before the retreat starts), your accommodation host will contact you by email to advise logistic details, and can provide tourist information on request. You will also be sent some intake and consent forms, which each partner will need to complete and return prior to the retreat.

Please ensure:
1. If you receive an error message after attempting to book a follow-up session, this is probably because the contact details you have entered are not in our system. If so, please check these are the same as you have previously advised us, or contact us to ask for your contact details to be uploaded by us.
2. On the ‘Pick a time’ page, use the right arrow at the top left to find available dates/times (rather than the ‘view calendar’ option).
